Mike Weil is the Director of Communications for National Comfort Institute, Inc. He also serves the as editor-in-chief and associate publisher of High-Performance HVAC Today magazine. He has been in these roles since 2014.

In fact, his background was always focused in the publishing arena. He spent 34 years at a Cleveland, OH-based business-to-business trade press company, holding the position of Editorial Director for three HVACR Industry publications: Contracting Business.com, Heating, Piping, and Air Conditioning Engineering, and HVACR / Hydronics Distribution Business magazines.

In addition, Mike managed the HVAC-Talk.com discussion forum as well as the HVAC Comfortech conference.

Today he is focused on a contractor-first approach to editorial, specifically targeted to the Performance-Based HVAC Contracting community. He also focuses on a customer-first approach to connecting Performance-Based contractors to vendors and suppliers that address their needs.

He likes to fish, camp, hike, and generally tell really bad jokes.
