Will Horner

Sales Manager
CANCO ClimateCare
Newmarket, ON Canada

Will says he has always been somewhat mechanically inclined. He started working in appliance repairs as a teenager and started an appliance repair company in his early twenties. He invested in gas fitters and refrigeration courses in those early years. In 1998 he closed his service company and entered the HVAC industry working at a wholesaler on their order counter. He advanced though the company to outside sales.

Canco was one of his customers and he was intrigued that they had fewer than average warranty and design issues compared to the other companies that he called on.

In 2005 Will left the wholesaler and was hired by Canco as a warehouse, purchaser, and salesman. One of the first things that he was expected to do was to take a heat calculation course which he initially failed, but he continued to take courses through ClimateCare and their partner companies like NCI (ISL). Will has since completed all necessary HVAC design courses offered through HRAI – The Heating, Refrigeration Air-Conditioning Institute of Canada – Skilltech Academy, and holds current designations as a Residential Air System Design Technician and Residential Hydronic Design Technician.
